The biggest battle we fight
Our desire is that the receiver of this coin (whether Christian or not) be told about the source of this awesome defense, Jesus Christ. “We believe that the “battle of the thought life” is the biggest battle we fight. All men and women are the prime targets for spiritual warfare. We encourage you to listen to or read the series of sermons from Ray Stedman. We’ve listened to them dozens of times, and each time, the Holy Spirit teaches us something new.”
Visit www.raystedman.org/new-testament/ephesians for audio sermons & the PDF written sermons titled “Spiritual Warfare”.
This Armor of God Coin was inspired by the Holy Spirit after studying these men: Greg Reider (Living Hope Bible Church) who was mentored by David Roper (The Fellowship & Cole Community Church), who was mentored by Ray Stedman (Peninsula Bible Church).
Each of these 3 men has a legacy, and as a result of knowing and studying their ministries, the Holy Spirit inspired us to build this coin. It is simple, accurate, and necessary as a practical reminder to “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” We encourage each of you to make “putting on the whole Armor of God” a daily routine.
The Armor of God (AOG) coin was created at the direction of the Holy Spirit. Inspiration from the Holy Spirit was gained by studying the ministries of 3 men; Greg Reider (Living Hope Bible Church, ID) who was mentored by David Roper (Idaho Mountain Ministries, ID) who was mentored by Ray Stedman (Peninsula Bible Church, CA).
The Armor of God coin can not be bought or earned; it is a gift of grace from the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit inspires an AOG coin presentation, we ask the giver share the message behind the AOG coin and document the person who receives a coin.
Please note the date and location the coin is given. Include a short biography of each person, and what their prayer request is for their lives. This information is for prayer and encouragement uses only. The AOG ministry is led by the Holy Spirit. The coin was designed and built based on Ephesians 6:10-20. It is simple, accurate, and necessary for defense during spiritual warfare. The AOG coin is a discipleship tool that can be used as a daily practical reminder to “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” We encourage each of you to make “putting on the whole Armor of God” a daily routine.
During WWI pilots carried medallion coins with them as a show of respect, loyalty, oath, and camaraderie for their unit. This tradition came about after a pilot was shot down, captured, escaped,
and then thought to be a spy at the front lines where they were going to execute him. The only ID the
pilot had to prove his identity was his coin, which saved his life. Ninety years later this tradition still
continues. Soldiers, police officers, fireman and paramedics risk their lives everyday for our safety.
They carry their coin as a personal token symbolizing this devotion and allegiance to their unit. The
Armor of God coin is your personal reminder that you are identified with Christ, and that He is the
one to pledge your love, devotion, and allegiance.
How can I get one? There is one primary location through which you can obtain an Armor of God (AOG) Coin. The AOG Coin ministry is supported by the Living Hope Church in Boise, Idaho, www.livinghopeboise.org
