Our EQUIP classes are designed to help adults systematically study and actively apply God’s truth to their lives

The classes cover a wide range of topics, from Marriage to Ethics, Church History to Systematic Theology, as well as classes on specific Bible books. We offer several classes each quarter taught by a variety of teachers, and you can jump into a class at any point.

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:45 AM as we learn and grow together! We will also have a men's class on SATURDAY mornings.

9AM class begins Sunday, Jan. 12 in room 115 - The Gospel of John

The Winter term study in the gospel of John focuses on Jesus’ final days, emphasizing His journey to the cross, the significance of His sacrificial death and resurrection. Our verse-by-verse study will detail Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, His arrest, trial, crucifixion, and glorious resurrection. In John chapters 12-21 our study will focus on Jesus' love for us, his fulfillment of biblical prophecy, and his ultimate victory over death. Come join our Winter term Equip study in the Gospel of John and let's celebrate together Jesus' sacrificial offering of eternal life for all who believe.

9AM class begins Sunday, Jan. 12 in room 114 - The People, Land, and History of Israel

Are you interested in learning about Jesus’ national heritage? We have a wonderful and reliable history of the nation, people, and land of Israel as recorded in the Bible as well as other historical and archeological records. Join us for this six-week study that not only help us understand the Bible more but help us understand many of the current controversies and misunderstandings of the land of Israel.

9AM class begins Sunday, Jan. 12 in room 202 - How to Begin Homeschooling

Are you interested in homeschooling but don't know how to begin? Have you recently started homeschooling and you feel like you could use some help and direction? Come join Jennie Nelson for a 7-week class on the basics of home education. As a mother to two college students who were homeschooled K-12 and a currently homeschooled 8-year-old, Jennie knows what it's like to be in the trenches of educating children at home. She will help you enjoy your days as you pursue God's purposes for your homeschool. Sally Clarkson's book Awaking Wonder will be the main text along with a feast of other resources.

10:45AM class begins Sunday, Jan. 12 in room 114 - The Reliability of the Bible

The purpose of this Equip class is to provide proven evidence and reasons why we believe God has given us His written revelation through Holy Scripture. We will present the reasonableness of the Christian conviction that the Bible is the Word of God. If you are a believer in the Bible, this class will strengthen and validate your belief; if you are a skeptic, it will challenge your thinking.

10:45AM class begins Sunday, Jan. 12 in room 209 - Habits of the Household

Find Meaning in the Daily Chaos of Raising Kids. Parenting happens in habits. We make meals, get in cars, answer questions, discipline, and do bedtime. Habits of the Household shows how these ordinary routines are extraordinary opportunities to live out the love of God in profound ways. In this class you will find the tools you need for parenting and discover spiritual meaning in otherwise mundane moments.

As you establish new habits and intentional rhythms around everyday routines, you will find your family has a greater sense of peace and purpose as your home becomes a place where everyone learns how to love. This is a 6 week class.

SATURDAY Equip Class begins Sat., Jan 11 at 8AM - Point Man

Faithful men who care deeply about their families want to be the spiritual leader of their homes.  However, many just don't know how because they've never seen it modeled or lack practical tools to do so.

Point Man is an excellent book and resource to help men faithfully love and lead their family. Packed with powerful inspiration, clear biblical direction, and helpful examples, this study will help men to be better men and leaders.

Join Pastor Chris and Curt Goldgrabe on Saturday mornings at 8AM beginning on January 11 for this 7-week study. Sign up through the groups page on the church center app or email pastorchris@livinghopeboise.org to be a part of the group.
